Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I was spending upwards of $10-20 per click on Adwords in early 2000s in a controversial industry. Had at least a 100% ROI spending thousands weekly. Wish I was smart enough to have bought GOOGL with my profits. I couldn't believe how much people were bidding up keywords and didn't think it could...

It's nice to hear another person on this forum call it how it is. I was once a kool-aid drinker, and I should have known better. All the people, including Elon, calling it 'a deal is a deal' are ignoring that Elon has not held up his end since he hit the goals and has been awol until recently...

I'm just holding too, waiting for 400's to diversify (which I likely will get greedy and won't do). I suck at trading and just hold like a little old lady. I hate to go back and see what could have been if I didn't get scared into cash in 2007-8 for 10 years.

TMC seems to be full of expert stock pickers that went from a 20x on AAPL then jumped to a 20x on TSLA then went all in on the next 20x on NVDA. I mean this forum is absolutely full of theses genius stock pickers.

Elon's words just backing up his actions. He's spent the last 2 years focused on social media, Austin Model Y production has slowed to a crawl, Shanghai Y production cut 20%, Tesla production sales and profits have leveled off the last year. It's no longer an acceleration. Elon just confirmed it

Almost every long-term TSLA investor is experiencing Fear Doubt and Uncertainty while many other stocks and indexes are hitting ATH. Any investor experiencing these feelings when their largest holding is down 58% is human, not some sort of cult of conspiracy funded by the shorts.

Will I get a MYP today? (First car declined delivery 🥺)

Does anyone know how much Model Y Austin production has been cut? We hear China cut 20%,. Watching Joe T's videos the last few weeks, there are noticeably more CT's in the outbound lot in Texas than Model Y. So Model Y Texas production could be cut to a 50k/yr run rate right now.

Maybe it's time for us shareholders to turn the tables on Elon and tell him to 'GFY". Should I buy used MX 2016 P90D Founder series with expired warranty?

Just buy a new Model Y. With the 7.5k tax credit, 0.99% APR and no maintenance costs with the warranty it's a no brainer. Used Tesla's shouldn't be your first unless you know them very well.

The narrative that Elon cares about the earth and humanity and doesn't care about money was shattered long ago. Only the uberbulls still carry the false narrative that Elon is a selfless billionaire fighting for the good of humanity. There is no bigger ego out there today.

Elon is not the hardest working CEO- he holds multiple jobs and he has been ignoring his role at Tesla. Elon already cashed out $40B, 1,000x more than he put in, more that Tesla total profits to date, and he still holds 13%. Many shares came from his previous comp plan. No other Mag7 founder...

someone needs to write this up in a more concise and easily digested format for all the medias to pick up and push out to the ignorant masses. My neighborhood is full of inefficient, over-priced 'hybrids' (what an awful name when it's more a battery assisted, ICE dominant system, not 'hybrid')

I wouldn't go back to an ICE car for any reason. The ICE drivetrain is slow, loud, jerky, it smells, and pumping gas sucks, it's dirty, it stinks, gas stations are disgusting. EV's are worth a premium
