I'm a shareholder and I'm voting NO on his stupid compensation thing because of this, **** him. Him declaring in earnings call all Tesla owners have access to FSD v12, and zero follow up to people on 2024.8.9 from anyone at Tesla after that, was final straw.

I imagine a future where everyone around us is zooming by in their Robotaxis and we’re still steering our 2024.8.9 cars… and then aliens show up to free us from our jails

It's kinda infuriating at this point – Tesla AI team completely ignoring one full fleet while they keep releasing updates (12.3.6 yesterday) for everyone else :/

The number of "contributing vehicles" on TeslaFi should be representative of all the cars on the road though? That kind of website would just have a small subset of total global cars. Why would cars on 2024.8.9 be much more "contributing" to TeslaFi than other versions? And technically it does...

Anyone know what happens if someone on 2024.8.9 simply purchases the FSD Supervised subscription? I.e. before having the trial? Does that mean I'll get FSD v12.3.4 right away, or will my subscription give me FSD v11.x?

I feel 100% certain everyone on 2024.8.7 is going to get a 'further improved' FSD 12, like v12.4 directly

If majority are on 2024.8.7 it’s possible they just want to test with other smaller-sized branches first, solidify things even more before rolling it out to everyone on this branch. Maybe we’ll get v12.4 or v12.5 🤷‍♂️

Glad it helped! I think by door levers they mean the emergency release levers. Those are also slightly hard to find in rear seat doors. Mine did come with the adapter and usb drive!

I think they did start this last week! Tesla introduced RWD Model Ys here (and in Mexico), which don't get made in the US, so those are most likely going to be shipping from China.
