    FSD experience

FSD has worked above my expectations but not flawless for me. Is there any way to contact Tesla to report problems that you are experiencing that DOESN'T require you to stop the FSD trip? These are things that aren't a safety problem but do (usually) make me get out of FSD. The biggest one is a...

Vision-only Auto Park is finally here

I was afraid of that. How about features like Summon? I bought the AutoPark level just a little over 1 year ago now because I looked at YouTube and saw it had auto park and summon. And spent an hour or two searching YouTube and Tesla online sites like this one trying to figure out why I couldn't...

Vision-only Auto Park is finally here

Can the system Auto Park if the cars are parked slanted and not at 90 degrees to the aisle? Since I assume that my car would have to drive past the parking spot just to see it and you are now really 2 car widths from where the parking place is I'm not sure if Tesla would bother trying to get...

    Snow, Ice, and regenerative braking

Yesterday (Nov 26th,2023) was the first time that I was out driving with the temperature dropping and rain/sleet/snow falling. I was on an interstate, in Omaha, and when passing under an overpass I would have to take my foot off the accelerator because traffic was slowing down, and each time I...

What do you do with your house keys (for those that use their phone as a car key)?

Fairly new to Tesla but our cars for the last 20 years have been a hybrid Prius and a hybrid Camry, both of which are a somewhat large key fob that really doesn't fit on a keyring, so for 20 years we fostered a habit of checking whether we had BOTH car fobs (in case either me or my wife needed...

Supercharger - Omaha, NE (8801 West Center Rd.)

Thanks. I could see that Center from I-680 East looked complete but I didn’t take a detour to see what it looked like between 96th and 90th streets. Street construction isn’t something I can blame on charging stations for making traffic a mess, but if it was still down 2 lanes on the 4 lane...

Supercharger - Omaha, NE (8801 West Center Rd.)

Glad that it’s finally open. I doubt that I will actually need to use it because I live only about 30 miles north and rely on home charging for travel nearby but it’s good to have an options. I need to do a drive-by and see if Center Street between 90th and west to I680 is still a construction mess.

Supercharger - Omaha, NE (8801 West Center Rd.)

Nebraska was dragged kicking and screaming into accepting solar and wind generation by Facebook and Google when those companies said that they would not build in a state that restricted those two energy options, and the Omaha area was being looked at for new locations for both of those...

When traveling, do you bother with trying to find hotels with EV charging? Can you depend on them?

Soon after I got my Model Y LR we attended a ComicCon in Kansas City, at the 12th Street Marriott. We have been staying there for a number of years anytime we went to KC because my wife generally has a lot of points towards room costs because of her work, but I noticed that the website mentioned...
