Volk Racing TE37 Gallery for Model 3

Your car looks great! And those seem to be grippy tires (with a UTQG of 280), how does it feel with new tires and wheels?

Volk Racing TE37 Gallery for Model 3

Your Tesla is car show quality now. But your pioneering spirit of taking yours even farther is something that many want to see I'm sure. I'd also be curious what others have found. That's a great dog avatar! (or is it a polar bear?)

200 miles review: Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4

Just for comparison, I have the pilot all season, size 265/35-19 on an aftermarket wider rim and get avg 285 wh/mi. and a consistent 330 wh/mi on the flat lands at 75mph. On long long trips, navigation has me stopping every 2 hours for 20 minutes (Interstate 5 in California, many superchargers)...

So the above two Teslas, Red and Midnight Silver are owned by the same person and he has 8 Diamond Blacks? They look great.

That spoke shape gives depth, from what I understand the higher the number the more concave, so the left concave one is Face 4 and the flatter, right wheel is Face 3. This thread gives me a chance to celebrate what I like. Here is mine illustrating that concave face 4. (I like the wide lip...

    Thoughts on Redwood's GT Ohlins?

25 from the closed position, 1 being firm, 32 being soft. 10 is fun but the hi way gets bumpy, so 25 is cushy. "handles like a dream" The aftermarket performance tire I have on at 42psi makes a difference, as it's a firm, grippy, non-sway component in the ride as opposed to a...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

This was at SEMA this last week? I'm not seeing much Tesla, and this is what I see from the consumer trends show? And this is so 70's van style with the wheels and paint style. Not a popular look. Consistent execution, looks cohesive, but damn it is garish. Did SEMA not embrace Model 3?

    True Forged 20" wheels?

There is good discussion in this thread. Here is my experience. I only wanted forged because of my past experiences. My last car was a Mercedes CLS550 that weighed 4300 pounds, a couple hundred more than my now 2023 model 3 RWD. On this Merc, I went plus one in sizing and went from 19" to...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

Portland Oregon To Reno Nevada 540 miles one way, a break through southern Oregon Cascade mountains in this shot. Roads were empty and smooth. This car is a pleasure to drive fast.

Greetings everyone. New to the group, new to Tesla

That is a great picture. Am I the only one who loves these wheels? As a design, they're nice, and if you look close at them, you can tell they're not junky like so many of these molded covers popping up for us. I've modded my car a little, but as-is, the Model 3 is simple, fresh and clean lined.

Hi, I'm confused. Your wheels and tires look great, but I've got to respectfully ask, I'm reading the side of the tire in the above picture and it says 275/40 19, can a Model 3 even do that? isn't that a Model y plastic cladding trim?, but you say car? and what is this forum?

Tesla Model 3 Wheel Spacer Sizing

Model+, has a tab under services about spacers for this car. I went with 15 and 20 front to rear, some go higher, some go lower.

    Steering Assist Reduced

On my 2023 RWD, after 1800 miles mine went out a couple months ago, it made the news at the time that the government was investigating (ha ha) why this happened so much and people might get hurt. I drove mine (was hard) to the service center and got to drive the piss out of a performance model...

Hankook iON EVO All season tires with controlled efficiency testing

The 'too long didn't read' TLDR is different tires make a big difference in how far the car goes before being plugged in. Thank you for the good analysis. I had the Michelin MXM4 and switched to the stickier Michelin Pilot All Season. I lost a full 20 percent of efficiency/"how far can I go...

    Vendor Official Rays Volk TE37 Ultra M-Spec Gallery - 19x9.5 +28 5x114.3 for Tesla Model 3 + Model Y - System Motorsports Special Sizing

Diamond Silver. 2023 RWD, had the mxm4 tires on before but with the 265/35-19 Michelin Pilot AllSeason, this car just woke up. $3700 in new suspension components did not bring the awakening that this set of wheels and tires did. This shot is after debris from the rain but these wheels look...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

Those mirror caps/covers come from Monaco Motorsport. They have a page and a half of model 3 exterior bits. I've mostly seen this style of mirror cap on BMW. Our mirrors don't want to fold in all the way with these on. They took 3 and a half weeks to get here (slow boat from china)...

Volk Racing TE37 Gallery for Model 3

The storied race shop that put my Volk ultra m-spec TE37s on had these old center caps in a shade of gunmetal on a back shelf. I did a google reverse search and results were: just a sold out sticker or a plastic one on Ali-express with plastic tabs (ha ha) to hold it on. So this particular...

Volk Racing TE37 Gallery for Model 3

I'm looking at pics of my stock tires and wheels, the tire is stretched, exposing the crap steel, as the Volk setup protrudes, beefs out, and states, 'I am complete'. I want that for my car also. White car is mine with spacers and a drop and the black is 'canasion35's with 19 x 9.5 +28 and...

I hope it'll look okay. Silver wheels. White car. I went with the standard safe Michelin Pilot All Season 265/35-19, it's lowered on Redwood Olins. I'm agonizing over all the design details on this car. I love how it looks now on stock 18's with spacers, but, well you know how it is dontcha...

Volk Racing TE37 Gallery for Model 3

Mine were delivered by the brown truck guys today! They are perfect, I could not detect the slightest blemish. The color was hard to choose. For me, when I think of the pinnacle of design, Ferrari is near the top, and I always remember seeing their wheels were usually silver. I like how the...

After market trunk liner for 2021 Model 3

Hi, I don't think I'm in the majority, but I went with a more expensive mat. I'm thinking that there are fewer items to customize on an electric car, less things to break and spend money on in the future, so why not go with a nicer selection for a necessity like mats. My Corvette ownership...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I went with TE37 19X9.5 / +28 Ultra M spec Waiting for the 265/35 tires to come in now. With the proportions of our Model 3, an 18 inch looks like it fits, a 19 inch is looking kinda custom good, but a 20 inch is a tad large and putting too much attention on the wheels. That's just how...

    Thoughts on Redwood's GT Ohlins?

Hi, if anyone is searching on these coilovers, the Redwood Motorsports Ohlins DFV Long-Stroke Coilovers, Grand Touring GT. I had the installed 1000 miles ago on my fairly new 2023 RWD. They've been perfect. Silent. Slow speed city driving over wavey, patched, broken surfaces are hardly...

Sentry Mode: CAUGHT in the act keying my car with knife

My Tesla was just vandalized tonight also. And I agree with you, I feel it's just a cost of living in society. My girlfriend and I went downtown, parked on the street and went in to the movies. I come out to my windshield broken, the sentry showed unsavory, dirty, disheveled people laughing...
