    [UK] 2024.14.x

Possibly yes. It won't be an entire branch of the software. Just a setting internal to the car that the user can't (typically) change. Tesla have already done this multiple times with things like regen settings being hidden on newer cars. No big deal. They do it when they add a towbar to the...

    [UK] 2024.14.x

Yes, the checking for updates thing is a waste of time. I checked whilst parked up waiting for my girlfriend. No update. One hour later... app notification to say my update was ready. I have a feeling that message on the screen literally doesn't do anything. Or maybe only does something if...

    [UK] 2024.14.x

You'll get a notification on your phone when it wants to update. Don't worry about it. Better to have slightly older software without bugs than newer software which looks nice but has extra annoyances on it.

Towing vehicle flashing up on rear sensor....

Confirming I see this bug as well. Covering the rear camera works around it. Not ideal but is very annoying on a longer trip and the rear camera is pretty much useless after hitching up anyway.

    CommaAI OpenPilot

    How's it going?

    [UK] 2024.14.x

You'll get all the features everyone else is getting, except the "big picture of my car"

It is still giving pointless instructions to "keep right" all the time when navigating?

It's not critical and I'm not saying it is. Neither is the FSD visualisation but people seem to like it. Having the dots showing how much the regen is limited is a useful thing. Especially as it may change as you are driving on a long straight road (such as they exist in the UK) and you've not...

    [UK] 2024.14.x

It's useful to know if my car's regen is limited or not. I want a bit more information than the little green icon that shows up. Less of an issue in the Summer, admittedly, but still something I find useful and it's annoying that something I find useful is being made more difficult to use. I'm...

It absolutely amazes me how Tesla sometimes really screws up the basics sometimes. Wipers that don't work properly Touch targets on the screen that are too small Making the regen widget virtually invisible

    [UK] 2024.14.x

Tesla/Elon has already stated they won't offer it. What makes it tricky is the Ryzen system uses water cooling and the Intel one doesn't so nothing is fitted to accommodate. Technically possible to make a "Ryzen Lite", which doesn't need water cooling and has Intel compatible connecters going...

Imported US Tesla in Eurpope - NACS to CCS

This is probably something you should have researched before importing the car. Only way to know for sure is to test. Assume the worst and hope for the best. I'm assuming that it won't fry the car, or worse... A NACS to CCS adapter works in the US, but that's no guarantee as they use CCS1 and...

    Intelligent Octopus charger failures

That's why I'm saying that you should transfer to Go instead of Intelligent. Then it wouldn't be a problem for you as Octopus wouldn't control your charging, and you'd still get very cheap electric rates, and you won't have to deal with Octopus getting annoyed with you for turning off their...

    Intelligent Octopus charger failures

I'd just switch to Octopus Go in your situation. You get one less hour and it's marginally more expensive, you probably won't even notice the difference. Octopus do make it very clear that Intelligent is a beta product and might break from time to time, and if I recall correctly you have to...

Against terms of service. They might kick you off the tariff.

    Model Y range test

Today was pretty good actually... Almost enough to charge the car right up... not that I would given the pricing...

    Model Y range test

    Yes, exactly this.
