This is exactly it. I’m hoping there is some kind of calibration issue as the test drive car last year was spot on when I was messing around with it. Seems point just above the steering column no matter where I set it!

Yea I ended up trying manual and all sorts to get the temp to stay down. The test drive car I had last summer before I purchased seem to feel ice cold which is why I wanted to ask.

Thanks for all the responses, sounds like a non-issue. First time hauling the family to Gatwick and leaving the car for a period of time, didn’t like the idea of returning on a 9 hour red eye to go sit at a charger :-)

Completely agree, my Y is 6 months old tho… I usually keep my cars for 4 years 80k miles and haven’t had an underlying foam issue, but yes some leather creasing would be expected, that’s what I thought it was at first but you can feel the crease or degradation underneath.

I also feel the crease, as in there seems to be a weakness in the actual bolster foam/filling. As you say it will never improve just collapse further over time. I love my Tesla but never got this on any previous cars

Starting to see this on my 6 month old car, actually thought I was over thinking it but looks just like this! I will call in a service request as well.

Can’t say I have noticed this on my Model Y. I also can’t make it to my local shop (less than 2 minutes away) without the cabin being at a comfortable temperature. Sounds like somehow there is excess moisture in the car.

Hi, I have my company MY through LeasePlan, although I have access to my company emails so not really the same position. You can just go to the Tesla app and create the account with your work email, I just checked and don’t see a 2 factor email so hopefully you don’t need access to work...
