Yeah I'd double checked and it's on their faq, so totally ignored Sally satnav and went in southbound Tebay and across charged then back across and carried on north to the Penrith junction. 👌

Quick question about Tebay southbound chargers. Had anyone accessed them by coming of at Tebay northbound and going across the bridge? I read you can but it says on signs access to hotel only yet clearly signposts the tesla chargers as well.

Must admit I did leave the last one in directing me to Tebay south and it never recognised it as the chargers so didn't precondition. So cancelled it at Penrith and selected it manually.

I've given up with it now. Real shame as would have been handy for trips with multiple stops and using abrp suggestions as I've compared a few with what tesla recommends and vastly different and would make the journeys a lot longer I feel

Well I think I've got it working. I reckon it was because my zappis signal to my router wasn't the best and the commands weren't getting there. Hooked it up to the extender I got for that and the car and tonight it is working. Had 1kw added during my 8:30 to 9 window but it was stopped...

Thanks for your help but still no luck, think I'll have to boost it. Removed the device and re-added it. Weird as it never did a test charge or anything. Just added it and then once I closed the app a new schedule from that very min toll 6am appeared. Left it 10mins and still nothing has started.

Opened my engergy app and just says waiting. Have it in eco+ mode, charge rate is at the default of 50 and boost settings has scheduled tab selected but no schedule. I'm 20mins into my latest window with octopus. Not looking good to me. Still says charging error. No power and noticed says...

I actually nipped out and unplugged and plugged it back in. In the tesla app it says charger error no power In the octopus app my windows changed slightly but basically have cheap rate from now until 6:30am and nothing is happening

Waiting on my next window to see if it works if not I'll have to just do it manually for tonight to make sure we have some charge

Well I've switched to octopus and then switched to intelligent by using my zappi and received a schedule but it has kicked in the charge as i have a 30min window currently. I've got the zappi in eco+ mode but I did this after the test as it never said I should do that during the test. Any ideas?

Just wanting to know the best / recommend way really. Sounds like if car it will try and wake it a lot but tgat shouldn't happen with the zappi. I'll have a play when all hooked up

I've just had mine parked in an airport car park for 7 days and with sentry mode off it lost 2 percent in that time. I checked the app possibly 2 or 3 times during that time

Does it work that way around? I knew I could share from abrp to tesla but only had the first stop as the it's route. So if I share to Google then from there to tesla it works?

I've noticed on mine since the latest update the limited regen is on a lot even when battery is under 80 percent and on a fairly long journey

I had my first dark night drive for a while since these were activated and they just don't dip in very well lit areas. I was in villages and even on housing estates with huge number of street lights and not once did the blue high beam deactivate. Had all kinds of weirdness with the grey icon...

Yeah my 20 plate volvo xc40 did this and was so annoying. I always muted until I knew I'd need it.

No I didn't see the blue icon until I clicked the stalk forward even though it was on in the settings.

I tried the adaptive headlights for the first time last night and after pushing the stalk forward to activate them they came on and worked but never once turned off even when I was in some heavily lit streets. I would have expected them to turn off at that point. Will try again next time out...

Yeah all done. Took longer then expecting but that was my first one so there you go. Know for future anyway. Why level ground? Because it has an update specifically for the lights? It's on a slight incline as its on my driveway.

I've moved the extender a bit to see if that helps. Is downloading now but taking some doing. Wondering if signal still not strong enough

I don't have the option to install, just says update available and link to release notes. Odd. Will have a look once my wife comes back in the car.

With it saying software update available I may be about to get the latest. I've never actually kicked an install off, is it automatic once downloaded?

I got my model y last Thursday and in the app it's saying software update, connect to WiFi. Should always be when on the driveway anyway but will check that. When I click release notes in the app it just says what's currently installed which is 2024.2.8, is that a long way behind?

Agree we need more towards the top of the m6 as there just isn't any. Will be doing more trips over the summer from Cumbria and will have need for more options.

Well I'm glad I made contact with tesla and CA yesterday as everything wasn't rosey. I suspected something might come back and bite me and it did. When I placed my order I almost instantly got linked with a car and this was in the CA docs that I signed. I then put my order on hold for 20 days...

After reading this I've reached out to tesla to make sure everything is sorted for my delivery next Saturday before I book travel and also switch my insurance. Hopefully hear back soon.

Ordered Model Y originally on the 2nd Feb, delayed for 20 days on the 4th. Plate issued on the 25th Feb with a delivery confirmed for the 23rd March as its easier with it being a Saturday. Vin appeared in the app a few days after delivery confirmed.
