    Are you driving 85mph+ everywhere? Have you checked your alignment? The old EPA rating of 396 for the MSP with 19" wheels was around 244. I'm nowhere near that. The EPA rating on my P85DL was 310 wh/mile and my lifetime average was 308, so I was doing just about rated on that car. Until 2024...

    I think what you're saying is that it displays/hits 0% when you've used up that 94.6 of usuable remaining. If so, then they're still still playing the trick showing you 0% early.     Forgot to mention 182 miles at 244 wh/mile was 46% of the battery which comes out to just about 396 miles traveled from 100% to 0% before any sketchy buffer use which just so happens to be the old rated range.

    That's what I said although it's no longer 4.5%. The 99.4 is the actual physical capacity when new.

    The 99.4 includes the anti brick buffer which you can't use. A brand new one will show about 97 kwh nominal.

    Ideal range was never the same as EPA rated range. For example, my P85D new showed 253 rated but changed to ideal showed 320 something which was of course impossible. The refresh S/X doesn't have an ideal setting any longer.

    That's what I used but installed with a torque wrench. At only 59 lb-ft it doesn't take much counter torque to hold the steering wheel. Also, the shaft is indexed so you don't need to mark it. It can't be installed at a different angle. More detailed write up later today.

If I park overnight in the snow in 20F overnight temps, it doesn't happen if I parked it just the night before. It only ever happens if I skip a day or more of driving and then it doesn't matter...

    Given that it lasts exactly the same number of seconds every time, I think it's due to an intentional change in some part or system. Did they intend the driver to feel the vibration in the pedals? Who knows, but whatever is causing it is intentional.

    Probably that. The yellow thread locker was completely toast. If the factory bolts come with thread locker, then that's the answer. Also explains why it took way more than 60 lbs-ft of torque spec to remove.

    BTW, the how to video shows removing the airbag with the power still on. All the other yoke/round wheel replacement videos which also show removing the airbag absolutely do the LV and HV disconnects first.
