One of the top things I wish I had been told before buying an electric car is how much of a difference the temperature makes on the efficiency. My normal driving is >300 during the winter, ~240 during the spring and summer. For me, 65-70 degrees seems to be a pretty big breakpoint.

Can you test the charging rate when installed in the car?

I've had the same problems as most with an iPhone 11 Pro. Even plugged into the wall it was barely able to charge at a rate high enough to keep the charge level constant. They have sent me a replacement that will be arriving shortly, so I will update you.

My v4 charging is VERY slow. Replacing a Taptes that Barry could keep the phone at a level battery charge and this one isn’t any better. Also, unreliable charging in the left hand slot with an 11Pro. Turns off after a few seconds as others have said about their right slots.

I get very irritated by rattles when I'm driving and I find, for some reason, the passenger seat belt buckle rattles quite a bit when unfastened. If I fasten it, problem solved. Is there any reason to not drive around with the passenger seat empty, but the seatbelt buckled?

This is why Tesla claims they can insure their cars more efficiently than others -- all that data. And the fact that they would be paying wholesale, not retail (or close to it) for all repairs.

I think if Apple can allow unimpeded Google and Microsoft apps on their phones, Tesla shouldn't be a problem. It's a lot easier to change your phone than your car if apple were to prevent the iphone from properly interacting with a Tesla.

Get a drive that is rated for surveillance (frequent write/rewrite).

I;m not even talking about the Green pass or the special EV discounts -- I'm saying that if you go on to the EZ Pass website just to get an EZ Pass, they ask you to select the make and model of your car and Model Y is not an option.

FWIW -- the EZ Pass system itself does not even have the Model Y in it, so the only way to get a new tag for a Model Y is to claim it is some other vehicle.
