    General G-MAX AS-07 Tires on Model X

I paid $350 for a set of Michelin Cross Climate before, these tires are better simply by the fact that they are quieter. With that said, wet traction is definitely a concern. I also have a tire that won't hold air past 38psi but won't leak past 35psi.

Front suspension creak when turning but Tesla says normal

There are three control arms on the front of the Model X. One on the top and two at the bottom. The lower front is the easiest one to change, the lower rear requires a bolt to be cut and the upper one you can do in 2-3.5 hours.. The right side is easy to change, left side has two brackets...

    Upper Control Arms

I did the greasing part last year, it cost around $45 in parts and it fixed the squeak part of the time. You need a gun, a fitting and the grease. I did a permanent fix by replacing the upper control arm for around $200. It took several hours to install it and I needed an alignment after.

    General G-MAX AS-07 Tires on Model X

I have 60K miles on my 2019 Model X. The General is my 3rd set of tires, replacing the Michelin Cross Climate 2 that was on the car. In 200 miles, here is what I have learned so far with these General G-Max AS-07 Noise = The General is FAR superior than the Michelin Cross Climate. Matter of...

Anyone else with Michelin CrossClimate 2 on Model X

I had these cross climate 2, garbage tires. The new general max tires I have are more efficient and they are nearly half the price. The range is also better than the Michelin too. When the Michelin were new, it was also extremely noisy. The noise went away after the tires became bald. That...

2017 MX alternative parts for front upper control arms

There are 3 control arms in the front of the X, one at the top and 2 at the bottom. Instead of dropping the battery pack, just cut the bolt and get a new one. New upper control arm from Tesla is about $100, but I am going with aftermarket as I have no faith in the Tesla part that will likely...

M3 lemon law arbitration with Tesla resolutions team

You are not going to win with subjective argument. Take your emotions out of it and then you can win it easily. You are not going to get them to buy back from the software phantom braking issue, everyone knows about it.

model 3 on track - the need for a good seat (take the poll)

You telling me slapping a harness bar on a street car is safe? Go flip through any racing rule book, they spend pages talking about the angle of the seat belt and the way the seat and harness have to be mounted. Also if your club does tech form, look at how they break up the sections between...
