You may get v12 eventually without MCU3, but who knows how long that will take. I would hope you were told all this before purchase.

Print out the alignment specs that N2itive provides and make sure you find an independent shop that will align it to N2itive's specs. Extra points if its a lifetime alignment (only $100 more), so you can get it realigned 5000 miles later for free when they didn't quite get it right the first time.

You can buy a box of stainless steel shims on eBay for $24 and get your camber to anywhere you want. You'd still need longer bolts tho.

The winter wheels I have coming in next week are UberTurbine replicas. 20 x 9, with 40 mm offset. Only weight I know is 33 lbs including box, so hopefully lighter than Teslas. That's an odd wheel config. Usually the offset changes with wheel width, so the wheel "pokes" equally front and rear. willtheyfit.com says my new 9" wheels front and rear in a square setup, will have 18 mm less poke on the rear. My wheels (no tires) come in next week so we'll see how bad it...

Did anyone figure out which size tire in a square setup, results in no speedo change? In other words, is speed determined by the rear tire size or the front? I'm doing my research for winter tires and have a couple of (20") sizes in mind.

Getting owners of FSD on 2024.8.x updated to FSD v12 is also a low priority. I can't imagine waiting for an update to MCU1.

THe main screens should all be similar with additional info, not available on the 3 & Y, in the driver's screen. The UI code would be much easier to manage then.

I never would have taken a chance with bronze myself, but it looks great. I have no color sense, so black trim means black wheels. Chrome trim means chrome delete, then black wheels. Glad I could help! 😁

Late '22 Y's got the comfort suspension, which may be why it was better than the X. I missed out on that by maybe 2 months in my Sept '22 PY.

I'm long overdue for an update too (although not as overdue as you). I usually get one around day 3 of a wide release. That means I should have had 14.6 yesterday. Got passed over by 14.5 as well. I've been on 8.9 since Apr 8th. FSD v11.1 sucks on 8.9.
