I have MCU 2 (Intel Atom) in my Model 3. Originally I had HW2.5 (Nvidia?) and was upgraded to HW3 (Tesla). So I would say MCU and HW are not the same.

As a fellow engineer, you should be more specific. Tesla only recommends charging to 100% for Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Batteries. Based on your Tesla's complaints I would assume you don't have an LFP battery.

I would suggest a 6-20 outlet for each car in the garage with a 16A Duosida J1772 charger for each. I've been using this setup for 3 years with no regrets. Get a wall mounted hose rack for storage.

This is indeed a new bug and a regression over the past broken behavior. Before it sometimes worked and had work arounds for when it didn't. Now there are no work arounds. I suspect this is an intentional change to make it less broken, but with less functionality.

If you have a m3u playlist, I have a python script that will remove/add as appropriate. I manage my playlist in Plex, export an m3u then sync the USB drive.

From personal experience, you can do this for a while but they will eventually contact you and incentivize you to put your tag on or they will charge a higher rate.

I stream lossless from my Plex Server to my phone. Getting it to the car is a different story since it can only use Bluetooth.

My performance leaked between the rim and the tire on both passenger tires. No rim damage visible to the eye. Tire shop put some black stuff on the rim to seal it.

Plex server is worth it even after they fix USB cover art. Use ExportTools to export your Plex playlists to an m3u file. Then depending on your host OS, you can sync the m3u to your USB drive.

Last time I tried this, granted it's been a while, I got audio dropouts with sentry and music in different partitions on the same drive. I contacted Tesla and was informed it was an unsupported configuration.

If you have sentry and music on the same USB stick, recent firmware versions have started audio dropouts often during music playback. I now have 2 USB sticks and no audio dropouts.

Sorry I can't answer your question but I will warn you that after 2020.4.1, I get USB audio dropout using a single drive with two partitions. I've tested 2020.8.1 and 2020.8.3 and both will not work with one USB drive.
