I've got the same thing on my '23 X today. The seat belt was dry where it hangs, but the part that retracts into the Pilar was wet. The further I pulled it out, the wetter it was. Of course it is raining, so I only took a quick look around to see if I could see a bad seal. Couldn't see much...
What is the update interval of the new battery data? It is much slower than the rest of the legacy data. I started charging, and it took maybe a minute or two before it shows the battery current go positive. (Battery wasn't heating). I thought it was going to be faster than the legacy data 10s...
Did you try turning the temperature setpoint to Max or turn on the Red Defrost mode? Either one will ignore the actual cabin ambient temperature reading. If one of the ambient temperature sensors is bad, it can think the cabin is too hot and then try to cool it. I had this issue once on my 2019 3.
Keep Sentry Mode on at all times, so the car never goes to sleep. This keeps the DC-to-DC converter active, which is what charges the 12V battery. It consumes some waste energy keeping Sentry Mode on, but far better than ending up with a dead 12V.
After every software update my charge port door starts opening properly via the charger handle button. After a couple of weeks, it will stop again until the next software upgrade. A reboot of the car doesn't "temporarily" fix it.
CRA denied my claim/request for refund, stating it was up to Tesla to determine the date of purchase agreement, which Tesla chose as the delivery date (after Sept 22) and not the order date (2021).
Just installed that version, and the 12V still shuts off as soon as I exit the vehicle and close the door. Sentry, Climate Keep, or Dog all do the same. Camp is the only thing that keeps it on.
I am using a Bluetti battery bank and it reports the supply input via their app, which is how I am...
I got 2 years, and it showed up a few days after the end of Q4. So I had to pay for the first few Supercharger sessions. So you won't see it before delivery.
It shows up in the "Loot Box" in the app. The "Specs & Warranty" page in the app still says Pay-as-you-go.
Anyone know is this is an issue with the X or is it a software update that disabled it for all models? I used the 12V constantly in my previous 3 last summer with a cooler for a month-long trip (with sentry mode or climate keeper). This is going to be really annoying.
You can pick Halifax, and then in the message, ask for it to be done by mobile. They will default to you travelling there, but if you ask, they will do most anything via mobile.
Open a service ticket with Tesla and give them the exact date and time and ask them to look at the logs. They log a lot. Not sure how long they are kept for though.
Did you try changing the temperature setpoint to "Hi"? I had an issue once with the temperature sensor, and it thought the car was up to temp, so it would not put heat on, unless it was set to "Hi", which doesn't care about the interior temp.
I got a call back from them today and they said it was basically between me and Tesla and they would not get in the middle. It is up to Tesla to determine the purchase agreement date. If I want, I can fill out a form (somewhere on the CRA web site) to get them to make a ruling on it, but it will...
Just got a call from Tesla asking if I was ready for delivery. He said I should get the VIN soon and delivery mid-December. Ordered Nov 2021. App has the estimated delivery of Dec 3 - Jan 7.
How about the document that it literally titled "Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement", which can still be downloaded from their web site and has a pre-2022 date on it? It has the old pricing on it, which they are still honouring. If it is not a written purchase agreement, then ask Tesla to sell you...
Even though the title of the document literally says "Purchase Agreement".
Any lawyers here?
I don't see any mention of methods to appeal to Gov to get a refund. So if you pay it to Tesla, you probably won't get it back.
Can you ask the SA to explain why they believe the tax applies, when the government says it does not if the "Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement" that I can download from my Tesla order page is dated in 2021?
"The luxury tax will not apply to the sale of a subject vehicle priced above the price...
Or where Superchargers simply don't exist.
Unfortunately you can't order the new adapter unless you have a vehicle that supports the adapter. My pending X order won't allow me to order it.
My car doesn't support it, and I am unable to order. I have another vehicle on order, and it won't let me order the adapter based on the pending vehicle order either. Hopefully it doesn't go out of stock forever.
6 gauge wire is rated for 55A only at 60°C. If the equipment is rated 75°C or 90°C, it is fine for 60A. The Tesla gen 3 wall connector is rated for 90°C. So as long as the breaker is rated 75°C or higher, you are fine.
