I was very disappointed to discover that - with the latest update - activating active cruise control now engages autopilot. I purchased my M3P as a performance car. The last thing I want is using autopilot. This is mostaggravating.
Hello, not sure what year your M3P is, mine is a '19 and currently on Version 11.1 (2024.8.7) Under my car options > autopilot, I have two options Traffic-Aware Cruise Control or Autosteer (beta).
If you got the FSD trial update, you have to disable FSD to get TACC or normal autopilot back. Select autosteer at the top of the autopilot settings menu.
Then somewhere below that there should be an option for single or double pull to activate autopilot. Double pull is the old behavior.
By the way, "latest update" is ambiguous, because your latest update is not necessarily what every one else gets. It wasn't needed in this case, but mentioning the version number (e.g., 2024.8.7) will get you better answers.
