Parking sensors

I've had my truck for two weeks now, and the one item I really could use is the parking sensors. Has there been any communication as to when this will be available?

I don't have much clearance for parking and have to get within about 6 inches of a concrete wall which is kind of scary using the front view camera.

That's been an ongoing issue for vehicles without ultrasonic sensors for about 1.5 years now. It's being worked on. That's a part of the "Tesla Vision" system.

Where I currently park my Tahoe, I have about 1.5" of wiggle room on both the front and rear of the truck where I will either hit the garage cabinets in the front or get hit by the garage door coming down in the rear. The front camera makes this generally bulletproof, as I know that I need to pull up to where the second drawer pull falls off the camera view to know that I pulled in far enough. Seems just having a landmark on the camera might be the easiest way park consistently. Maybe you can try that.

And now that I have my truck, I can say that I have absolutely no problems parking within a few inches using my cameras.
