My favorite color. Just got an estimate for my red '21 with 26k miles - $28,800 - $1000 less than Carvana. I don't know if I can bite that bullet.
My red '21 with 41k miles just got a $26k offer from Tesla. It's about what I still owe on it. My car payment is about $1,100 per month, and a new lease would only be $600 per month. Since I plan on getting a new one every 3 years or so, it seems to make sense to lease. As fast as EV tech is changing, I don't think even Teslas will hold good resale value for 5+ years. I sold my 2018 Model 3 in 2021 for a nice price, but that was a unique time when all EVs were selling like crazy. I'm just waiting for the Midnight Cherry that also gets built in the upgraded paint shop.
