Hello, long time reader and first time poster.
My story....2023 MY dual motor long range. Delivery May 2023. First noticed the cricket noise on a cool morning last summer....got more prevalent into the fall when I first complained.
Noise appears with cooler temps, relatively const speed (ie not significant accel or decel) and most noticeable in the 70 to 95 kph range
4 service visits now. 1st visit - can't replicate. 2nd visit - serv tech heard it and said it sounds like a bearing. They took the car but focused on wind noise, replaced a body seal. Issue not resolved. 3rd visit....focused on wind noise again, eliminated a wind tunnel with front bumper. Issue not resolved. 4th visit - I took a video of the issue and showed it to advisor and serv tech....seemed familiar with it but cagey about acknowledging. They tried to close the issue almost immediately, I called and fought with them....ended up keeping it 2 weeks. Said they took it out multiple times in diff temp conditions and also discussed with Tesla engineering.... But concluded it's "normal". Bah. Attached a vid here....anyone else think this is "normal"?
