Tesla Unveils Sleek Solar Panel Product

Tesla’s new “sleek and low-profile” solar panels have made their official debut among the company’s Energy offerings.

The new Panasonic-made solar panels are now pictured on Tesla’s website, boasting “integrated front skirts and no visible mounting hardware” that make instillation of the panels less of an eyesore compared to common designs. The effort is in line with Tesla’s Solar Roof offering, which hopes to attract customers with an aesthetically pleasing solar option.

Electrek reported that production for the 325W modules should start this summer. Tesla is taking requests for custom price quotes right now.
