[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SpaceX is set to launch and land this morning a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg, Calif. as part of a mission to send 10 satellites into orbit for communications company Iridium.
SpaceX holds a contract with Iridium to launch 75 of the company’s Iridium NEXT satellites, in order to create a constellation of 66 telecommunications probes in lower Earth orbit, with nine in-orbit spares.
The launch is the the first of two scheduled this week. Watch the launch, scheduled for, 8:37 a.m. ET, below.
