NHTSA Awards Tesla Model 3 5-Star Safety Rating

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Tesla Model 3 has received a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. With the rating, the Model 3 joins all of Tesla’s other production vehicles in having earned a perfect rating.

The NHTSA’s New Car Assessment Program created the 5-Star Safety Ratings Program to provide consumers with information about the crash protection and rollover safety of new vehicles beyond what is required by Federal law. One star is the lowest rating; five stars is the highest. More stars equal safer cars.

Not only did the Model 3 earn a 5-star safety rating, it also scored highest in each category and subcategory, which has been rarely accomplished by other cars. Ratings from the NHTSA website are below.
