Watch: Historic Launch for SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Program

A historic flight for SpaceX–the first fully operational commercial astronaut launch in the company’s history, is on track for launch.

Astronauts from the U.S. and Japan plan to travel aboard a Crew Dragon capsule mounted on a Falcon 9 rocket to the International Space Station. The mission marks the first time an operational crew has launched from the U.S. since 2011. The flight will take off from Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The launch is scheduled to liftoff at 7:27 p.m. ET from launchpad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
