Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Over a decade ago, Tesla used to include the following in their job postings: “You must have a passion for engineering electric vehicles. Without passion, you would find what we are doing too difficult. There are easier jobs.” I wonder if it's still there or if the last decade has anesthetized...

Of course, but if the deal were completely done I'm not sure he goes. I'm betting he rode in the car, FSD in control, cool as a space cucumber. And also, he's probably one of 10, or 2, that even get the deal started. He goes, he pushes it over the edge, here we are +$25/share. We all want more...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Back when I bought TSLA for $30-$45/share in the 2012-13 timeframe, if it had made an equivalent jump in Market Cap as today, it would have gone up $386/share (courtesy of 5x and 3x splits). I've spent most of it on the photo in my profile, but there is a little left and it's good to see in...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Perhaps this weekend will be seen as a turning point where Elon goes back to being perceived as a huge asset for Tesla and TSLA rather than the recent US, X-based narratives depicting him as a liability. There are less than 10 CEOs in the world, perhaps less than 2, who could go do what he did...

Glad I didn't invest in that around April 8.

Still flapping their wings, though the stories of 'coming soon' have all sounded the same for months. https://www.sacurrent.com/news/san-antonio-startup-delorean-says-its-still-in-operation-despite-quietly-moving-offices-34369547...

I see them on Forge, though they do not appear to be actively selling at present.

    SpaceX investor's thread

I'm in SpaceX under terms similar to these, have been for 3+ years. I asked if I could pay for the fees in cash rather than shares...no.

    SpaceX investor's thread

I agree with Cosmacelf, however Chamath Palihapitiya said 2024 in January of this year. I'd think there'd be a meaningful start with T-Mobile and a window on that income/growth before the IPO.

This is good news if the $225B valuation is true.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I'm getting nostalgic, Elon has some mojo back, feels like a positively defiant Elon, as in he knows the future and no one else does...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

As an intermediate step to robotaxi, isn't there a world where driver assist technology with a certaion level of functionality gets mandated as required safety functionality for every car the same way seatbelts and airtbags are? In that case, if the technical requirements of the system are...

25% by $ or #? Maybe they start producing batteries and megapacks together with car packs as the first part of the factory. If it's what Tesla has been lobbying for then they likely have: 1. A roadmap to get there 2. Expect other manufacturers do not
