I'm gone for a week and the v12.4 bottom falls out. TBH I'm not surprised if the online post ends up being true. If only it was 'this easy.' I wonder if Elon is nervous about releasing a pile of 💩 before the shareholder vote.

Tesla might need to open an office in Chuck's neighborhood given the time and effort they are putting into it. If these TSLA team visits were software release validations we'd be on v13 by now. :)

Here's a video compilation of 12.3.3 and 12.3.6 issues. The first instance involved an emergency vehicle.

This might be one of those FSD non-accidents. It's a shame as the driver had time to disengage 12.3.6 prior.

It looks great now but will likely be even higher maintenance.

The only thing better would be talking about why it takes so long to release an update. Maybe it's a never ending need to add simulated training data? What FSD features will Tesla need to punt on and replace with simulated training data? I'll bet they've been working on Chuck's unprotected...

Sounds like the question wasn't the focus of the webinar. For sure Waymo needs to simplify the design and reduce over all costs. They have been arguably slow and steady with their roll out. There might be a few obvious paths like licensing the technology, cherry picking regions and more...

Yep. It looked like the status quo. Max set speed appeared to still be gorked. Indecisive at intersection entry and left turn lane selections. And video sections with heavier traffic were edited out. We really should be calling it v11. :)

We should all be wearing shades by now.

They may not be testing sw for that drive as it looks like the driver might be rowing the steering wheel again.

And rightly so. There hasn't been much to be giddy about. But that's all about to change now that FSD is no longer training limited and the team learned how easy this all was. :p

I bet this is something less than a Columbo worthy gotcha.
