    Model 3 Performance/Ludicrous Waiting Room

It's only for RWD and AWD trims. It looks like it includes inventory and new orders, and the promo financing is only good until June 16th.

OKAY I'M ADDING A THIRD OPTION - have the wife take delivery of it while i'm on the trip. lol Would you all do it?

    Model 3 Performance/Ludicrous Waiting Room

Yeah that was the other factor. I don't have a garage; only a carport. So it won't be baking in the sun entirely. I figured people would vote to take delivery anyway. The other upside is this allows me to save more money for the down. lol Cancelling the trip is not an option though haha. It's...

    Model 3 Performance/Ludicrous Waiting Room

Welp. I officially had to place a hold on my order because I will be out of town for three weeks starting next week. So, this means I will not be taking delivery of my car until July at the earliest. Ultimate FOMO, but the bright side is that I didn't have to take delivery right before I left...

So it seems Tesla's claimed 2.9 0-60 WITH rollout is actually conservative, as people are getting that already WITHOUT rollout. So with rollout would be more in the 2.8s?

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Yeah I was thinking 19x9.5 et29-35 which cleared the previous M3P.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I want to maintain the range at the least. I posted this question in another thread, but which of the following setups would yield more range: OEM setup - 235/35 20x9, 275/30 20x10 OR square setup - 265/35 19x9.5 Assuming both are on the same type of ultra high performance summer tires...

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Thanks. I really wonder if 275 width tires are necessary to put down the power. I was thinking of going 265/35 on 19x9.5 squared eventually, but not at the expense of traction.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

    Source? I thought they were 19x8.5 et35 and 19x9.5 et 35.

I never thought about it this way. lol

You and me both. Now, if only that VIN would just come already. **sigh**

I plan on wrapping mine in Avery Magnetic Burst Blue. It's dark blue enough to pass like Tesla oem blue, but with a purple pearl to it. So i'll blend in and stand out at the same time. ;)

Removing Aero Covers from the new 2024 M3PL

Thank you for this write-up! I was already accepting that I would've had to remove my wheels in order to remove these based on a video I saw. But this gives me hope that I won't have to do that. So thanks for putting in the work and sharing it. I think I might wait for aftermarket covers. I am...

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I'll just chime in to go on record that I've driven the S and commented here that it felt like a boat for daily driving compared to the model 3; I believe I put it on Sport too. Granted, I've never tracked it nor do I have any doubt it would perform remarkably well on the track. I've seen videos...

    Model 3 Performance/Ludicrous Waiting Room

My friend just shared this interesting stat with me as I was discussing wrap color options with him: Note: I didn't fact check this, but anecdotally, I have noticed seeing a lot more grayscale colors out on the road. I'm not sure what factors are contributing to this (e.g. manufacturer paint...
