Tesla Virtual Power Plant in CA

Powerwall was exporting at 9.5kW or the grid was getting 9.5kW? My grid export maximum is 7.83kW and it hasn't gone over that, but my Powerwalls are hitting 9.8kW when the AC kicks in.

Hmm, that is very strange and it makes me want to save a PDF of everything that Tesla claims. My recollection is that this had a qualifier of "if you had taken a SGIP" payment or something similar.

This what it looks like on Android

I don't think that this is the case. In prior posts @Tim-in-CA has said that he had disenrolled, the app reverted to not being enrolled, enrolled in DSGS, app reported pending and then went fully active.

Android or Apple IOS? I'm guessing Android as that seems to be flakier than the Apple IOS version. A couple of suggestions in the order of least annoying Restart your phone Log out of the app then back in again (I do this often to resurrect the Charge-On-Solar functionality) Uninstall and...

Tesla Virtual Power Plant in CA

Well there are 3 days left and the program requires at least one event a month. No one here has reported any event and there definitely hasn't been one since I joined DSGS on 5/14. Since there isn't a Tesla VPP contact that I could find I did reach out to Olivine that coordinates a lot of this...

California Utilities Plan All Out War On Solar, Please Read And Help

PG&E is planning on rolling out a shift-the-blame messaging and another attack on solar.

So, it sounds like an app glitch since you never signed up in the first place.

When you click on the VPP does it encourage you to apply or is it fully enabled and showing ~2823 fleet homes and allowing you to set the VPP reserve level?

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

It would be more accurate to say that you are being sent a check for $232.97 because your annual NEM true-up retail rate balance was negative and you exported 2890 kWh more than you imported during the year. The math is 2890 * $0.04030 * 2 = $232.97. Any adjustment of the NEM balance is from...

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

If your NEM balance is negative you don't get that amount. Instead you get the Net Surplus Compensation, NSC, rate that is in effect for your true-up month multiplied by the net exported kWh for the year. Most CCAs give you more than the straight PG&Es rate with SVCE you get twice the NSC.

    Understanding PGE/SVCE electricity bills/TrueUP

If the amount was less than $100 then it becomes a PG&E bill credit. If it is over than you would have been sent a check.

Tesla Virtual Power Plant in CA

This is noted here: https://www.tesla.com/support/energy/virtual-power-plant/dsgs Looks like I confused the ELRP maximum of 60 hours with the DSGS maximum of 70 hours.

The original ELRP program was mostly Aug.ust and September, but there were also non-CASIO alert test events in June and July. When I went through the original program information, in pretty sure that there was a commitment of at least one event in each month. I'll need to find the specifics.
