Lights would not be under a secured flag you would be able to change those no problem. I've changed my regular 2018 headlights to a 2022 matrix headlights with no issue. I don't believe Tesla would secure a safety related feature like lights. Just paid features.

Same exact things happening on like the last two updates it seems like the USB goes into deep sleep and doesn't wake up.. If you reboot the car it's totally fine everything works but once the car goes into deep sleep then it doesn't wake up and says USB IO error. It's like stupid annoying but...

All the pieces need to be present to “complete the circuit”. Since the canbus is what provides the power to the entire center console, if the rear USB board isn’t there it’s got nowhere to go and no way to make its way up to the front. I found that out because mine didn't come with the rear...
