oh definitely. that's been a problem in this area for a long time. first it was AC units at homes and businesses...then the cat convertors off trucks and now charging cords.

they're trying to push the narrative that they're anti-ev or anti-elon groups out there vandalizing these chargers. 🤷‍♂️

yeah i think it's like $100 or so to tint just the back windows. i've tinted every car i've owned. little heat reduction is a plus but also like having a little privacy as well.

no matter where i am, if i have things that might be of value, it'll be in the frunk or sub trunk. i feel like frunk might be safer but it all depends on size of course. for the most part, i try not to keep anything in the car at all times

have you checked on your app if the charger is on a charging schedule? like it only charges during the off peak times, 12am - 6am. mine was automatically set to that so when i plug the car in, it does the same as you described but once midnight hits, it starts charging.

i just realized there wasn't one when i first picked up my dry cleaning and didn't have the handle to hang my clothes in the back seat. would be nice to be able to have a least one to hang all my dry cleaning back there

i have a black model y. all my cars have been black. love a shiny black car. just soo clean. went with the clear gloss ppf to keep it new and clean. having a black car is high maintenance but it's something i'm willing to deal with and have been doing so for many years with all my cars.
