I bought one for my wife to replace her Explorer ST and we love it. The ride is excellent. It's doesn't perform like a Tesla, and IMHO the battery is too small for the platform... but I would say it offers far better value than a Tesla of comparable price.

I'm not sure in what year the heat pump changed. I have a 21 MSP and a 23 MXP. The "first 5 minutes" vibration does only happen on my 23 MXP. Both cars have the "lets f'in go" vibration. I believe, and pretty sure it's established, that they are 2 separate items. I'm still on team...

In documentation (service manual?), for the heat pump system, there is information of running something in a "lossy manner" to generate heat. Is there any chance this is done on a PLAID during the first part of the run cycle to generate more heat so the motors and/or battery are also heated...

I have had an RSQ8 and an AMG GLE 63 S, and have sniffed the Cayenne for years... They're too expensive. The Plaid at release was way too expensive.

While my X was being tinted, I drove my S and I love that car so much have decided to keep it and not sell it. But it also reminded me that the X has yet to deliver those smiles and more questions as to why.

There isn't a whole lot of "seat of the pants" difference between 0.5s. As I've used the term "perception" several times, I am keenly aware of what it should do vs. what it seems to be doing. I just wish I had the time to go to a track or a nice stretch of road and a timer to put numbers on it...

My 2023 Model X has 2 dips in the glass, right about where a normal car would have a roof line. It's not in the sight-lines, but is really noticeable after I put on on Exoshield.

Yeah, tires would only be responsible if they were slipping on pavement, slipping on the rims, or litterally sidewals flexing to the point of failure. Is there a graph that anybody has done that shows a relative SOC vs power output curve?

My 21 S has stock wheels w/ winter tires and I also have Rohanas with Michelins... all stock size 21". My 23 X has stock 20" w/ stock Continental Crosscontact In my case, I feel like I would be overjoyed with those numbers in my X. I'm thinking I'd be lucky to get into 10s with performance...

I found it and disabled. I will need to A/B test this to see if it was what was messing things up. Thanks!

My new X Plaid seems slow. There isn't any of that neck snapping torque and acceleration I expect. I've driven an 18 ludicrous X in past and I'm not even sure I'm getting that level of performance. I'm certainly nowhere near my 21 S Plaid. Is there some sort of break-in or trainer mode...

My S doesn't do it, but my brand new X certainly does.

Service Dept is replacing mine under warranty. Says they are redesigning with different materials, but didn't know release timeframe.

I hear mine daily. It's embarassing really... $100k car that makes these noises in a drive thru line or parking lot or whatever. I'm tired of it and want it fixed, but service is just brushing it off.

I agree on bushings. The noise just doesn't seem like it could be a brake component. It sounds like rubber/poly squeal.

2021 S Plaid, 21k miles. See (HEAR) attached videos. I've had it into service 3 times, never resolved even temporarily, and the latest was that it's just brake noise, and normal. They cleaned and lubricated brakes, but again, brake lubrication is pads or pins and this noise doesn't sound...
