If you disengage fsd a lot Tesla will send you new fsd updates sooner to see if you disengage less

Still no update for me what’s that mean

I tried checking my car today and it won’t check for an update, it says my last check was in the 15th at 8:30 am

My car always wants to go to the left lane even when there’s no cars around, why is it so attracted to the left If there’s a slow car in the right lane it should pass it then immediately move back to the right lane

If I don’t look at the software tab I still get a notification in my Tesla app that update xx.xx.xx whatever is available to download

I think my phone checks for me though so its hard to avoid checking

I want to be first this time, I haven’t got 14.6 yet but my car can’t check for updates till morning

That goes back to my original question, If the heat pump goes out on the model 3 then it doesn’t have a way to cool the battery since 1 heat pump does everything? Does mine have octovalve and superbottle being a mid 2022

I’d be surprised the battery wouldn’t need cooling when it’s 100+ degrees outside and the black pavement that your driving over is 150+ degrees right by your battery

How do you know if the batteries ac stops working then? I thought it would use the same heat pump as the cabin ac

If someone’s AC stops working does that mean the car has no way to cool the battery in the summer time or does it do other things to cool the battery when there’s no AC

I’ve been using FSD a lot so I would be one of early ones to get 12.4

Yea this means people that paid 15k for FSD will essentially be downgraded lol

Version 13 will probably be unsupervised and will be a 3rd option that costs more While FSD supervised replaces enhanced autopilot

Does the car use extra energy to cool the battery when it’s hot outside the same way it uses more energy to warm the battery when it’s cold? I’ve been taking a much larger range hit on 90+ degree days than I did when it was cold, my energy graph is showing like 800+ wh/mile for the first 3...

I’m surprised this screen can handle the heat it gets, when I park in direct sunlight I’m pretty sure the surface of this screen feels like 200 degrees to me

This is a new house so haven’t really had chance to see if appliances are well protected

Problem is charging the car in the middle of the night, storm could come up while I’m sleeping and even if it wakes me up I’m not going to walk outside in rain and lighting to unplug the car I’ve slept through many storms though that didn’t wake me so I wouldn’t even know in some cases

I thought the car itself and the wall connector had built in surge protection

I need to unplug the car every time there’s a thunder storm? I don’t want to get up at 3 in the morning and go out in the rain if I hear thunder to unplug the car lol

Is there a reason Tesla says to leave the vehicle plugged up even when you aren’t using it? I only lose like 1 mile per day in range when it’s not plugged up I don’t see the reason to keep in plugged up unless I’m not going to be driving it for 6 months

So that when my car is 10 years old I can still make long trips with only 2 super charger stops instead of 4 - 5

That’s what I’ve been doing but i didn’t have to do that on v11 it went to my max speed setting instantly

Are you going to trust actually smart summon enough to use it for everyday things when it releases?
