I dunno. I buy paper towels from Walmart. The “high end ones”, that say they are equivalent to like 6 of the “regular” rolls. They are actually awesome. The buck stops there though. They are good paper towels for around the shop and such.

Honestly, if you want a NHSTA recall, it should be for this busted ass “auto speed control”.

This, and they seem more “jumpy” or jittery?

12.3 slows appropriately for raised railroad crossings. This is a HUGE Improvement for me. The slowed speed for such crossings is perfect, exactly as I would manually drive over them. No more big, big jumps at raised railroad crossings anymore!

Weather? We have had snow this week, but the roads are dry and clear. There is snow on the ground. I get the FSD degraded message if there are flurries in the air. This might have something to do with it.

Got to see a customer an hour and half away from me tomorrow. I budgeted the whole day since I’ll be doing 38mph on 55mph roads most of the drive.

It worked on 11.4.x on highways with the message: “Maintaining speed for traffic” or whatever it would say. Figure they could just apply this city streets.

So, 12.3 really throttles back the speed based upon weather condition with speed set to “auto”. Light snow and wet roads, drove 10mph under posted speed limit. Turning off “auto speed” really didn’t change much. Have to see how it works with better weather conditions. Otherwise, logged...

Not unless 12.3 becomes available on a 2024 firmware release anytime soon. You’ll be back on 11.4.9 unfortunately.

Wow. I noticed it without slowing down playback speed.

Not really as noticeable or good as the ones on Audi’s or Volvo’s.

Definitely 10.3. I was a 99% safety score recipient of 10.3 in October of 21. Yes, 10.3 was a mess. The neck breaking stops from 60mph were fun.

It’s random. I’ve been on FSDb since 10.3, across three cars (two with safety score entry into the “program”) and only once did I get an early release of new software. I was one of the first to get V11 back whenever that was.

Sometimes. I’ve had it stall, and wait for the oncoming vehicle to completely clear the intersection before proceeding. I’ve found myself using the go pedal a lot more in 11.4.9 than previously. This is on HW4.

An issue I’ve seen for years (we can say that now) is that FSD follows the turn lane rules a little too closely. There are many instances with lane situations that FSD will only get into the turn lane when it’s “supposed” to. Around here, people pile into said turn lanes as soon as they can...
