I recently went to a local shop to get my Model S state inspected. They rejected it due to play on the steering rack. I still haven't gotten a quote yet from Tesla yet since I just recently sent them a message. Also, a concern of mines is that the car wasn't giving me any issues the steering was a problem. Or maybe the Tesla Model S is so heavy and correct the steering if there's something wrong.
I would like to know if anyone on this forum had any experiences in terms of symptoms that lead to a replacement, or the costs (ballpark) of how much I'll be expecting to replace it.
