I have a 2019 Standard Range MS and when I was driving home the other day, my air vent fans were making a loud noise and then eventually, my A/C stopped working and I have an error on the screen “AC has been reduced. DC Fast Charging/SuperCharging may be reduced”.
I did the soft reset, hard reset of car, update, etc. and nothing has helped. I had Tesla do a remote diagnostics and they said it’s showing I am low on refrigerant and I need to have it added and have the sensors adjusted. I have a SC appt for Tuesday. For some reason, the estimate says $142 diagnostics even though the car is still under warranty. (??).
I tried looking around and couldn’t find clear answer on what might be wrong. I hope Tesla is not going to have my car now for 2 weeks.
