Audi apparently just released a web based traffic light information system on a few of their 2017 models - it gets data from a server about when the lights will change and displays a countdown in the IC.
Some folks are hailing it as the first step in Automated Driving (would have thought AP was a bigger step, and it was definitely around first...)
I could certainly see something like this being useful - don't have to constantly watch for when the light will turn if it's one they know - and since it is web server based, presumably it's something Tesla can give us all with a simple firmware update. This might be premature since apparently only Vegas information is on the servers so far, though.
