Can't open Frunk from screen

Recent software updates have seemingly disabled Frunk open from the screen. (Both the screen that pops up when the car is in Park and the menu screen.)
I used to be able to do this. Now when I tap/press the Frunk, nothing happens. I can open the trunk but not the Frunk.
Now, I have to use the app to open the Frunk.

Any idea what is going on here?

Must be something about my car.
I'll try a reboot and see if that fixed the problem.

I had the bug frunk opens when trunk opens then closes…..all started with spring update.

Does the app work? You may have a faulty release servo. I had to get mine replaced early on as they had a bad batch I was told.

Yes it works fine from the app

Same here-appears to be random glitch, luckily the park screen shows frunk open before driving. I also noticed if truck is open when u put it in drive a chime beeps with on screen warning

Is the car unlocked? The lock icon shows unlocked? Even with you inside mine won't open unless the car lock icon is unlocked.

Mine won't open from screen unless the lock is unlocked, but it opens from the app anytime.

Well, it's set to stay unlocked in my garage.
Just tried it again. It's unlocked. Tapped many times on the frunk image with no success then tapped above the car image where the Frunk is labeled and it worked.
So looks like operator error.

In the industry, we chalk that up as a fixable usability problem: the UI being unclear about where to tap.

The Tesla UI also has hidden tap targets like the current time and the auto headlights indicator.
