Just got my CNick ring. This is amazing! :) I can use it as a backup key for my car, if phone is out of juice. And also it has contactless payment!

So finally you can go to the beach or waterpark and leave all your belongings to the car, and can buy ice cream and beverages. :)

(not a paid advert, just happy customer) :)

Am interested in getting one of these, how are you finding it? any issues? Do you have to use Fidesmo to load the ring?

Hi! Working fine so far.

The Fidesmo app is needed to activate the ring when it arrives. But you don't need it afterwards. The ring is linked to your real credit card, so you don't need to transfer money to your ring. If your card has balance, ring works.

Over 50€ payments require that you enter PIN. I didn't know this initially and it was slightly worrying, because I hadn't configured any PIN anywhere and there I was blocking the queue in store and didn't know what to enter. :) I decided to try my real card's PIN and it worked. This is a bit mysterious, you would think the PIN is linked to the physical card.

Anyway, the 50€ pin limit makes me usually just grab my phone and use Google Pay for anything over 50€.

Tesla key works fine, just like a key card. Obviously I use phone key most of the time, but it's really nice when you have forgotten your phone at home or battery is out...
