Does changing down payment start you over in line?

I wasn't sure at ordering time and put down $5k. I'd like to increase the amount before delivery. I know changing your car's config resets your order date and puts you at the end of the line. Does changing your down payment do the same?

No. Changing payment method, financing, trade-in, etc doesn't reset price and/or time in line.
