Ouch!!!!!I summoned my model y and it crashed into a curb. Wrecked the rim and peeled the tire like a pear. Brutal.
Really? Seems like you were going a little more than 1-2 MPH.
Book service appt? Tesla should cover Summon related repairs. Otherwise too risky to use.I summoned my model y and it crashed into a curb. Wrecked the rim and peeled the tire like a pear. Brutal.
Dead serious. The curb was next to the parking spot and it made an immediate right into it instead of pulling out then going right. Horrible. Tesla better cover the damageReally? Seems like you were going a little more than 1-2 MPH.
I’m booking an appointment asap. They better cover it. It wasn’t the straight forward or backward feature it was the drive to target summon. Don’t use itBook service appt? Tesla should cover Summon related repairs. Otherwise too risky to use.
Why would I come on here to makeup some bs story. I paid $100k for my vehicle. I can fix the repairs if it was my own fault.Really? Seems like you were going a little more than 1-2 MPH.
Yeah dude. Don’t use it. Too risky. UnlessOuch!!!!!
How do you prevent the vehicle from making an immediate right into a curbTesla definitely won’t cover the damage. Just like they won’t cover damage from accidents with Autopilot. The driver assumes full responsibility for safe operation of the vehicle. You are supposed to maintain a clear line of sight to the vehicle to monitor its movements and prevent accidents.
Don’t use summon next to a curbHow do you prevent the vehicle from making an immediate right into a curb
Thanks. Where does it tell you that. Tough way to find outDon’t use summon next to a curb
It can pick up lines and curbs on the road using self driving but summon can’t in a parking lot? Get outta hereDon’t use summon next to a curb
Yep. Summon doesn’t use the FSD software logic. Have you not seen smart summon in action before? It just drives randomly and ignores all lines and customs. Ie it drives over parking spots and drives all over the road like a 5 year old trying to control an RC car.It can pick up lines and curbs on the road using self driving but summon can’t in a parking lot? Get outta here
Hopefully you have video.Dead serious. The curb was next to the parking spot and it made an immediate right into it instead of pulling out then going right. Horrible. Tesla better cover the damage
...Surprised...
It’s “beta”. As Elon said for FSD you should expect it to do the wrong thing at the wrong time and be prepared to intervene.Hopefully you have video.
Surprised the car can’t detect contacting the curb and immediately stop, esp. for a paid feature.
The feature is supposed to bring the car to you. Meaning your not next to it. Unreliable feature that sounds good but isn’t meant to be used. I’m not going to summon my vehicle when I’m next to it. Dumb feature until it improvesIt’s “beta”. As Elon said for FSD you should expect it to do the wrong thing at the wrong time and be prepared to intervene.
