Frequent heat pump failures on Giga Berlin Ys delivered in Norway

A lot of Norwegians receiving their Model Ys (Giga Berlin production) have for some time now gotten failures on their heat pumps. The issue is supposedly due to a production error in the Berlin plant and metal particles that should not have been present are being taken into the HP system when using the heater (ext. source). The HP failures are so frequent that service centers are now having issues getting replacement parts. With Tesla not having any communications dept. and Norway management has a no-communications policy on such issues, more details on this is scarce.

Anyone from other countries receiving Giga Berlin had similar issues?

Yes, my compressor fell apart in splinters in the first 800km, on a new Tesla model y performance from giga

Yes, since April 2023 my Tesla is under repair for “P1-replace AC Components and HVAC flush” — why it takes more than a month - is mysterious.
Model Y from Oct 2022 driven 6000 km. Tesla knows which cars has the potential problem - but don’t tell the customers…the error could happen anytime and results in total stop…which would be nice to know before driving thru europe with your kids and pets…standing at roadside in middle of the night. Remember to take all your belongings out or the car, especially those alive - since you can’t get access to the car since the 12voltage sets out after 1/2 hour since it no longer gets power from the main batteri - which had 70% power at time of the breakdown. Did Tesla advice me of that during emergency call for assistance - not a word.

Last month I had a total replacement of heat pump plus all HVAC refrigerant touching components that took 6 hours in the shop from when I dropped it off until I picked it up. It is a giga Texas 2023 Model Y, and happened at 42,000 miles. Of course my new compressor vibrates a lot more at some speeds, and there seams to be a cyclic surging at some output levels. So it may need replacement again...

If there are metal particles in the refrigerant system, no flush will get rid of all of them. Road vibrations will dislodge particles the flush can't remove. The remaining particles will prematurely kill the replacement compressor. So all components that have the refrigerant pass through them must be replaced. The auto AC industry calls metal particle failure "black death" due to the blackish metal particles in the tubing.
