Do I need to install 2024.2.7 to get 2024.3.15, or should I wait?My car is downloading 2024.2.7 right now. That's not the right one is it?
Doubt it but also probably would not hurt.Do I need to install 2024.2.7 to get 2024.3.15, or should I wait?
If it were me I would do the 2.7 and then hopefully your offered the 3.15 after or wait a day and check software and maybe it will go straight to 3.15Do I need to install 2024.2.7 to get 2024.3.15, or should I wait?
As soon as I installed 2024.2.7 it started downloading 2024.3.15. Yay I can't wait to try it out tomorrow. Thank you guys for your quick responses.Do I need to install 2024.2.7 to get 2024.3.15, or should I wait?
Teslascope is showing vehicles getting 12.3.4 are coming from 2023.44.30.14 and 2024.2.7 (mostly legacy S/X) as well as 2024.2.13, 2024.2.100, 2024.2.200 (mostly HW4 Model 3). As long as you're not on 2024.8.x, MCU2 should be getting this.Do I need to install 2024.2.7 to get 2024.3.15, or should I wait?
Non-interior camera cars will never get V12. It is at end-of-life and will be stuck on v11 forever.
It’s happening!!I’m disappointed that I’m on the 2024.2.x branch with my legacy MS 2016 HW3 MCU 2 and upgraded cameras (twice). Was definitely in the early group for FSD Beta releases until this week’s v12.3 release. Freaking font update!!
I was going to bed and saw that an install was downloading on my phone. Installed it in ~44 min and went for a drive as well as test the auto-park. Both went well and it had some new / better behavior in regards to getting into the correct lane before a future turn. Going on a roadtrip so timing worked out well.TeslaFi currently shows 575 S/X pending 2024.3.15, and I estimate around 615 legacy S/X with HW3 in US/Canada on 2024.2.7, so it seems to be going to nearly all.
I seem to recall a year or so ago that one or two MCU1 owners claimed somewhere that they had received FSD Beta — and it worked ok. That would truly make them unicorns of the rarest type but I wonder if those couple cars have continued to be updated or if it was some kind of mistake in their favor that they had received some version of FSD Beta. As for the remaining thousands of MCU1/FSD owners, I admire the stubbornness of anyone who purchased FSD but refuses to buy MCU2 because Tesla had said seven years ago that they had all of the hardware needed for FSD. But isn’t it clear after these many years that was a lie?Just got it on my unicorn 2017 Model X with upgraded MCU1 —> MCU2 and cameras (was at 2024.2.7 previously). Now just wondering if they will send it out for my 2016 Model S unicorn that still has MCU1 (currently at 2022.8.10.17)….
What makes your 2017 a unicorn?Just got it on my unicorn 2017 Model X with upgraded MCU1 —> MCU2 and cameras (was at 2024.2.7 previously).
Actually quite a few of those out there!!!Unicorn typically means: FUSC (SC01) and FSD - typically Nov 2016-Jan 2017 builds of P100D S/X
I have a 12/2016 MX with the HW3 and MCU2 upgrades. I have been on 2024.2.7 for the last 3-4 weeks. I was just offered to install the 2024.3.15 upgrade. I started the install and about a ½ hr later it gave me the dreaded "software update failed" error. I'm glad I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but this is the first failed upgrade I've ever had. Drats!
Did either of you go into the 'service' menu and do the reinstall OTA option. I've done it once successfully after a failure. The software is already on your 'harddisk' partitions so it just reinstalls what is there.I got the 2024.3.15 update to my 2017 X this morning, started the update but failed after sometime. No retry option so far.
I tried a while ago and it's installing previous 2024.2.7 and install is still going on. Hoping to see the latest after thisDid either of you go into the 'service' menu and do the reinstall OTA option. I've done it once successfully after a failure.
