For a MYLR, 2023 model year, late 2022 production out of Austin (with reflector headlights, no matrix lottery like those out of Fremont)--when looking at the firmware data using Tessie, it shows headlamp type as "Premium".
Does anyone know what this means? I know Tesla shipped some MYLRs out of Fremont with matrix headlights. Does "premium"=matrix? That is, could Tesla have coded all the cars as matrix, even when they were not equipped with it? The question then follows whether the late build 2022 MYLRs can be retrofitted by simply replacing the headlights. Long shot, I know, but thought I would ask.
