I damaged my model 3 side skirt

I want to know would ut have damaged. The battery of its just cosmetic

should just be cosmetic, battery should be behind side rail/frame
i'm however curious as to the easiest/best way to fix that, seen a lot of cars with that damage...

I asked a repair shop they quoted 7-8k of battery is not damaged and they no idea of that
