Lancaster, PA Service Center suddenly shut down, everyone fired

I really hope they don’t start shutting down service centers. Feel bad for all the employees, deliveries canceled and moved to other SCs.

TBH there are some that are total dumpster fires that could use this kind of treatment. If yours was one of the good ones then this certainly sucks.

This location was always poorly run. Not once do I recall a good experience there.

A friend of ours had lost his key card for his Model 3 while traveling and they were able to help him out. This was a few years ago. At that time it was closest SvC anywhere around. Well that’s too bad, I hate to see people lose their jobs. What’s the closest one to it now?

I just learned that the Parts and Service Dept at our Chesterfield Mo store was shut down. Local chatter claims the second store in St Charles Mo will remain open. No word on status of employees.

This location was always poorly run. Not once do I recall a good experience there.

The one one Garfield avenue? I always had a good experience there personally. Got a loaner whenever I needed it too.

They probably just looked at a map and figured Devon or Mechanicsburg was close enough.

Anyone who has driven between Lancaster and either of the two locations know neither is really convenient.
