What's your EDD and what color combo did you go with?congrats to those who got new vins this am. lol i’m starting to feel tesla forgot about me.
That's the location advantage! Same order time, first Tesla as well, I'm at July- Aug4/27/24 order date. Located in SF Bay Area.
First Tesla. Big change coming from BMWs. Selling a very clean 2010 e92 m3 Comp if anyone is looking.

Same except my extra vehicle is an old Honda SUV. It's built like a tank but drives like one too! Not exactly nimble around corners.Lucky to have family with extra vehicles, so borrowing a '22 BMW X5 until the M3P comes in. Not a bad deal!
I just got an updated EDD pushed to May 21 to June 4. At least the window has narrowed. Getting close...I ordered the black m3p on 4/23 @ 1pm, white interior to Maryland, EDD is May 17 - June 14. Still no vin assigned yet. Has anyone actually taken delivery of one yet? I spoke to Tesla yesterday and I was told there are no delays to report.
Still quite happy driving my 2021 M3LR with AB which will be traded in for M3P. Our other car is a 2022 Subaru Ascent but lease up soon and looking for EV or PHEV.Interesting like this to see what everyone is driving while they wait for delivery. I'm driving my wife's 2nd car, a 2014 Mercedes E350 coupe. Cool car but it's white and everyone tells me this is a car for middle aged women and how i look out of place driving it. Hopefully it won't be long....
assuming they too are in NM?Coworker just got his VIN assigned. EST delivery changed from May 15- June 12 to May 25-June 4
This is my third Tesla, last time I had both cars at the same time before returning my lease. Tesla came out and swapped the module for free. This time I am trading in my model y so not sure how this will work.Same cost as buying a new one. You can do so in your app.
Is this your coworker’s EDD or yours? What color combo did your coworker order?Coworker just got his VIN assigned. EST delivery changed from May 15- June 12 to May 25-June 4
Congrats! So excited for everyone getting VINs now.VIN acquired! Eta 5/27-6/3. Before the VIN it was 5/27-6/20. Texas, SG/white config, ordered day 1. Maybe these cars do exist haha.
I confess I had vin envy. Now I only have eta envy. Looking forward to people posting their impressions to help me solidify my decision.
@mpgxsvcd if you don't mind me asking, why lease?
I almost got a m3P 2 years ago. Backed out because I couldn’t part with the M3. Family has grown since and I need a sedan. I’m going to miss this one. Known it since it was new. Wanna buy another? My condolences. It was a sad day for me when i sold my 2010 e92 M3.
Lol. I'm driving our backup beater since my transmission basically exploded on my daily driver (on the plus side, that was what made me finally pull the trigger on the Tesla!).Still quite happy driving my 2021 M3LR with AB which will be traded in for M3P. Our other car is a 2022 Subaru Ascent but lease up soon and looking for EV or PHEV.
And my EDD doesn't want to budge from 7/12-8/23.
Right, but that says not equipped but not unavailable. It's not for sure though.
Did a bit more research. The store currently says the out of stock homelink module is compatible with all model 3 and model y vehicles. Seeing as the 24 models have been out for months, this seems promising.
