I knew it !! I love Oregon, especially Hood River and Mt. Hood.
Part of the view from a piece of property I just purchased ... (yes, that's Mt. Hood peaking out & Hood River below it). But the property is not in Oregon :).

Ah, the view of the section of the Columbia River that I have windsurfed every year for the past 20 years is a wonderful sight. My pals and I travel to Hood River every June for snowboarding Mt. Hood in the morning and then windsurfing on the Columbia River when the wind kicks in for the afternoon. Add that to scooping up Rainier cherries on the way up to Mount St. Helens and you have the indisputable truth about why that irascible rogue beths11 scooped up the only COMPLETE 5 seat Model X of any of us. Favoritism is a nasty business unless you happen to be at the winning end of the equation.

I also make the pilgrimage to Hood River every summer to windsurf on the Columbia River and have also skied the morning and windsurfed in the afternoon!

Ordered our 5 seater on Nov. 27 and received delivery on Dec. 31. I have not received all the rear panels.

I was just about to order the Hitchski rack for our Yakima bike rack but found that skiis actually fit with the tips under the 2nd row. I used the rear cover in vertical mode to support the end of the skis and pack bags in rear well and on top of the skis. It worked out better than I thought.

Ah, Duckjybe, we are kindred spirits, and I do not mean to preach. I apologize for the urge to proselytize. But your runs down the the Mt. Hood summer snow in the morning, your high speed runs across the Columbia River at Hood River in the July afternoon, holding out for the only logical Tesla selection, the esteemed 5 seat Model X, and yet, and yet, and yet,,,,,,,there they were in the back of your Tesla: the unthinkable anachronisms, the ungainly old school encased in a high tech Model X: SKI POLES??? SKIIS??? Consider making the switch to snowboards. Then add the joys of windsurfing Kanaha and Hookipa. But I suspect you have already done that!

I tried snowboarding but alas could not bare the face plants in order to become as advanced as I am at skiing. If it is any consolation I did recently learn to kiteboard and yes I have been to Kanaha.

The learning curve for snowboarding, especially for an experienced skier/wind & kite surfer, is about an hour. The one mandatory stipulation is that you learn in deep, soft powder. Learning on hardpack or ice is definitely not recommended. I learned in Banff, in January, on ice: it was a nasty experience. My wife thought I was insane. I taught her in Snowbird, in deep powder: it was a comfy day for her. However, Duckjybe, you and I both know that the most difficult challenge in sports in learning how to do a jibe on a windsurfer. We won't even discuss in mixed company the difficulties of duck jibe!!

Now down to business: I received the following email yesterday from Tesla. They passed off my 5 seat floor panel installation from the Fremont factory to a Tesla Service Center in Sunnyvale, CA.

"I just wanted to follow up with you regarding the rear shelving for your Model X’s five seat interior. I currently have an e-mail in to my parts department trying to locate that part. Once I get a better idea of when we will have the part in stock, I’ll reach out to you and we can then schedule an appointment. In the meantime, please reach out to me directly should you have any other questions and/or concerns.

Best regards,
Evangelina Rivas | Service Team
750 East El Camino Real Sunnyvale, CA 94087"

Not a good sign. I called and inquired why the installation had been transferred from Fremont to Sunnyvale, and whether 5 seat Model X vehicles were currently being delivered with the rear floor panels installed. No explanations, no answers. All of this pointing to shockingly generous treatment of beths11, or impressive political power from whatever Tesla Service Center delivered beths11's Model X.

So my questions for the assembled 5 seat Model X crew:
1. Has anyone had their rear floor panels installed since having their 5 seat Model X delivered without the floor panels?
2. Has anyone who received delivery of their 5 seat Model X after Christmas had their vehicle delivered with a complete 5 seat real floor panel installation?
3. Am I at the very bottom of the 5 seat floor panel installation food chain?

Just read on the Tesla forum that someone was told the 5-seater panels were being redesigned. Please post photos whenever someone gets a new delivery or is asked to come back to the SC for installation.

This could mean that beths11 received a jury rigged prototype that was instantly obsolete the day after delivery, and the rest of us were chosen to receive the premium, advanced design, rear floor panel configuration. And so, as is so often the case, jealousy, sympathy, and karma inevitably consolidate into confusion.

I am enjoying my "rigged prototype" as it makes hauling our golf clubs oh so easy. I hope there is a better version created (don't know what that would be), and I'll get in line for the modification.

The easy hauling of golf clubs makes me very jealous indeed. I also envy the cosmetic superiority of having a completely finished rear trunk area, plus a trunk that does not encourage everything to roll around everywhere all the time! That being said, and on a subject likely near to both our hearts, I am at this moment 2500 miles away from home and my Model X, wandering the green fairways of the Wailea Emerald Course, begging for birdies, driving a Ford Fusion rental into which we can stuff 3 golf bags with not a care in the world about scratches to the unpleasant interior! Behold the 9th hole:

Had mine delivered on 12/27 in NJ. Nobody even told me there was missing panel until I saw youtube video and this thread. My delivery specialist confirmed this is missing but now he left Tesla and no one answers my emails. :(

You should be able to find a number to call here which will help you either get a new local contact for your missing parts, or help solve the problem:

I had my MX 75D 5 seater delivered on December 22nd. To my knowledge everything was delivered complete... (2) cargo covers and slanted barrier behind front seats. It looks complete to me.

I also read on Tesla Forum of a redesign, but not sure that is accurate. I have an appointment at a SC on Monday January 16 for another matter and will try to get info about redesigned covers.

Does it have an extra pair of cargo strap hooks on the storage compartment floor?

For some reason beths11 car is missing those while many cars show them.

Also how big is the gap between the rear seat and that slanted barrier? It has been differently sized in car's we (think) we have seen?

If at all possible, photos with the top cover on and off would be nice? :)

Attached are the photos you requested. The gap between slanted barrier and folded rear seat is~2 inches.

I do not have a strap on the REAR CARGO COVER.
Hope this is helpful
