One observation regarding the Autopark: I don’t use it because it pedantically cranks the steering wheel while the car is absolutely stationary, therefore ensuring maximum wear on the involved steering and suspension parts.
Is it true that turning the steering wheel while stationary wears the steering and suspension more than if the car was traveling at 5MPH? If the software would allow the car to move mere centimetres/inches as it cranks the steering wheel (mimicking best practices), that would enhance the longevity of said parts as well as the front tires.

Wow... you obviously didn't learn on a car that didn't have power steering. It's really hard to turn the wheel when stationary, much easier if it is moving even slightly. This used to be part of driver training. It's an upfront cash buy down, e.g. the bank sends Tesla 35k instead of 40k. They were giving 4-7k inventory discounts before, now they just apply the discount to the loan instead. Shouldn't have a big affect on financials. Tesla should still quietly offer cash discounts for buyers who don't want to finance, like legacy does, but who knows if they will.Does anyone know how Tesla provides the 0.99% interest rate for Model Y buyers? Do they make a monthly payment to the bank for each loan equal to the difference in interests? Wonder what the impact of this interest subsidy on the bottom line would look like.

Your 1b operating income already includes the "one-time" layoff charges, right?If deliveries come in at 390k for Q2, which is where they are trending, I have an early estimate of ~$1bn in Operating Income and ~$.43 EPS (non-GAAP) for the quarter.
