Oregon is opening up a community charging rebate program on June 13th:

Today, we’re excited to announce the rebate program launches June 13, 2023.

The application period for the rebate is June 13 to Aug. 15, 2023, or until funding runs out. $1.75 million is available for this first round, and will be awarded first-come, first-served.

Eligible applicants include private businesses, nonprofits, public entities, tribal governments and businesses, and owners of multifamily home complexes.

Rebates range from $4,250 - $5,500 per EV charging port or up to 75% of eligible project costs, whichever is less. Eligible project site locations must be at multifamily homes or publicly accessible parking areas in Oregon.

Seventy percent of first-round funding is reserved for projects in rural areas and disadvantaged communities, where gaps in EV charging infrastructure are largest.

It might be a good time to let your company and/or apartment complex know that you want EV charging, and that they may be able to get 75% of the costs covered.
