This is the truly scary part (and one of the most impressive parts.) I don't have a sub three second car, but I've noticed the same trends.

I swear it's black magic the way the car finds traction in slippery conditions for acceleration (presumably it isn't any better than other cars at braking and turning when things get slippery...)

thanks! here are some pics of the wheels on my P90D

Tesla Model S P90D Ludicrous with Light Weight Pulse Wheels

very very nice. any comments on ride/handling/performance with these beauties?

i'm always a bit concerned about going outside oem parameters, even when pulse claims "optimized to have a wider track on the rear without compromising the ride or handling and without need for modifications of the Model S fenders"

Agree, love the wheels. Look very nice on the car. Those poor stretched tires, though. Looks like there's room to go much, much wider than stock. Looks like Super Sports come in a 295 and a 305 size that might work... would have to run the numbers, though.

they ride great, takes 6 pounds off per wheel compared to the OEM 21".... you can put a 305 tire on the back as well...
