Power bank connected to the lighter seems the way to go for parking mode. There are reports around that connecting directly to the 12v battery results in error codes and a service visit to fix.

I've connected dozens of power frunk kits to the 12v battery without problems so i'd say that the amount a camera would draw would be ok, there is a way to reset the 12v system yourself which is pretty straight forward
