Transformer is inline with the charging pedestals.
…….Pedestals…. Cabinets….. transformer. I placed a small red arrow pointing to the transformer in these photos. It’s hard to see…..
This no parking space signage is interesting. Some TESLA spaces are parked in by ICE vehicles at this location, but not to the point that EV’s are prevented from charging in other stalls….. so far!!
The same no signage approach appears to be the case in the ‘yet to be opened’ supercharger site in El Paso West. Time will tell how this plays out. I don’t know of other supercharging sites that do not have any parking signage.
Yeah too bad they didn’t shift the charging posts farther down next to the Starbucks sign. That way they wouldn’t all be directly across from the store entrance.
Finally visited this convenient charging location. It had been marked as “Temporary Closure” all morning and NAV was warning us with a big red banner about having it in our route. I finally switched the position with the Starbucks location as it was a convenient stop before heading around El Paso on the 375 loop anyway. When we got there lo and behold cars were charging just fine so we joined in and skipped the alternative. Driving over the Franklin Mountains is very dramatic and scenic - it’s a favorite bypass.
