Here is a portion of the email I received from the City of Gilbert "We received your question regarding the Tesla chargers that were proposed at 1715 N. Higley Road. That application has been cancelled by the applicant, but they have reached out requesting information on another possible site located at 855 N. Gilbert Road. "
So it looks like they are moving it to Gilbert Crossing near Guadalupe Rd and Gilbert Rd (NE Corner). But that seems strange since there is an existing Supercharger just 2 miles away near Stapley Dr and Baseline Rd (NE Corner).

There was already an application there. Applied after this one but both were active for a month or so. Interesting that Tesla didn’t cancel the other right away unless they were waiting for initial feedback on the other site.

I'm searching the internet for Superchargers on my route for boating from Tucson to Canyon Lake and came across this link.
Does anyone know if anything is planned for this area, or why the Tesla app says the Mesa location says temporary closure. The Tesla website does not list it as closed.
I have a Cybertruck and a Ford Lightning, I'm taking my boat to Canyon Lake this weekend and trying to figure out where I can charge to make it back home to Tucson. I'm using the Lightning this weekend and There's nothing close along my route that's fast charging.
The closest Supercharger that I can use is Chandler.
Just wondering if anyone knows why the Mesa one says closed and is there anything coming up that's closer.

Keeping searching and check out the page specifically for the Mesa suoercharger and you’d have your answer why it’s temporarily closed. It’s being updated to V4 charge posts.
Id check out supercharge.info for the latest on the status of superchargers. The team over there is on top of updating things and it is better than scrolling around in your app which would be the next best thing. They also have a new feature about trailer friendly stalls.
